Aftermath of accidental kiss prompts
1. "It didn't seem to be a big deal for you."
2. "Okay, maybe it wasn't that good, but I still liked it..."
3. "Would you rather re-do it, or pretend it never happened?"
4. "I really like you, you know?"
5. "I mean, what about you?"
6. "Do you think we should do it again so I can get it right?"
7. "Well, I thought it was pretty good..."
8. "I didn't mean to embarrass you."
9. "I'm sorry. I'm just so awkward around you."
10. "I mean, I like you anyway."
11. "You're not a bad kisser or anything..."
12. "You're not mad or anything, right?"

Transgender fairy tale retellers tell me your plans in the tags!!! Vasilisa the Wise I am coming for your ass.
#Plans are trans Frog Princess (Vasilisa the Wise version) and hopefully... some meddling with Seven Swans. That would be incredibly cool.#Does anyone recall the fairytale with the guy in the woods who becomes a bear and gets skinned...?#Oh it's The Enchanted Stag I just read a retelling. Writing prompts based on bizarre/unnerving dreams I have had
You’ve moved into the perfect neighbourhood. Describe why, and then describe how you realise it’s actually really, really not.
A woman marries a man she loves and they are expecting a child. But her family hates him - why?
You take a walk into an art gallery. There’s a painting you did, on display and credited. But you have no clue how it got there. Write how it ended up there.
You have a close relative who’s house you drive past every day, but you’ve never met. One day, you knock on his door.
There’s an alarming amount of tumblr posts from users about how they suspect their house is haunted.
Two young boys who claim to be your brothers are trying to get into your house.
You’re told that a meteor is approaching earth and will wipe it out. You feel the impact, but then come round and climb out of the rubble unscathed. You aren’t the only one.
This train station doesn’t seem to stop. It might be as big enough to be its own country. What’s in there?
You find a strange horn in the woods that, despite feeling it wrong, you blow into it and it makes a deeply unnerving sound. A few seconds later, they same sound looms in response, from the sky.
A woman fights through an apocalyptic wasteland for somewhere safe enough to deliver her baby.
A journalist interviews an acclaimed movie director who tells her the deadly secret plot of his latest film - but it also a massive jerk who makes her feel terrible. What does she do with her knowledge?

A mark on your forehead identifies the god you must worship to stay alive, usually by joining its local church or temple. Your mark is unknown, meaning an old, forgotten god sponsored you. To survive, you must either find an old temple to worship at, or do the arduous task of building a new one

Some Quick Character Tips
Here are a handful of quick tips to help you write believable characters!
1. A character’s arc doesn’t need to grow linearly. Your protagonist doesn’t have to go from being weak to strong, shy to confident, or novice to professional in one straight line. It’s more realistic if they mess up their progress on the way and even decline a bit before reaching their goal.
2. Their past affects their present. Make their backstory matter by having their past events shape them into who they are. Growing up with strict parents might lead to a sneaky character, and a bad car accident might leave them fearful of driving.
3. Give reoccurring side characters something that makes them easily recognizable. This could be a scar, a unique hairstyle, an accent, or a location they’re always found at, etc.
4. Make sure their dialogue matches their personality. To make your characters more believable in conversation, give them speech patterns. Does the shy character mumble too low for anyone to ever hear, does the nervous one pace around and make everyone else on edge?
5. Make your characters unpredictable. Real people do unexpected things all the time, and this can make life more exciting. The strict, straight-A student who decides to drink at a party. The pristine princess who likes to visit the muddy farm animals. When character’s decide to do things spontaneously or in the heat of the moment, it can create amazing twists and turns.
6. Give even your minor character's a motive. This isn’t to say that all your characters need deep, intricate motives. However, every character should need or want something, and their actions should reflect that. What’s the motive behind a side character who follows your protagonist on their adventure? Perhaps they’ve always had dreams of leaving their small village or they want to protect your protagonist because of secret feelings.

Kisses Prompts that sends the readers reeling:
(5th, and 7th onee!! omfg 12th one PLSPLS somebody write and tag mee!)
hesitant kisses, but when they part one whispers "do it again. please."
hands caressing your neck or tracing your jaw as they kiss you nuts
their lips on yours, hot, feverish, partly sucking, teasing with their tongue (OMG-)
heated kisses - their hands on your bare skin, yours in their soft hair, lips nibbling, biting, moaning into yours, while heavily breathing after.
"love, don't hide your face, don't.." hands gently removing yours from your flushed face. "you make me fluster." you say, but they kiss you through those words and mumble against your lips, "you fluster me more, sweetheart."
kisses trailing down your chin, leaving love bites on your neck, chest, and all the shyness in between > < feeling their hot, sloppy wet kisses all over ur body, everywhere and beneath your stomach, and above it. :')
"i don't know how to kiss but let me kiss you, and I'll do it just right." (on my damn knees ffr)
moving to gasp for air, but the other still leans in, eyes closed, lips parted, absolutely wanting more!!! a string of saliva connecting each other's lips!!
hugs after kisses, that lasts several heartbeats long, as they nuzzle their face in your crook. kissing there as well, shyly smiling into it. (fyi im single since birth and haven't experienced ANY OF THESE BEFORE.)
"kiss me again, but- mphh"
cupping your lover's cheek. staring into their eyes with a grin before the kiss, their hands curling around your neck, anticipating it.
"lay down, love and let me do you how you deserve it."

Saying "I love you" without saying "I love you" — some ways your otp can silently express affection
Forehead kisses, and smiling through the kiss
Resting their forehead on the other’s after a kiss
Tucking strands of loose hair behind their ears, with a thumb caressing their cheek
Interlacing their fingers with the other’s when they least expect it
Sleepy back hugs when the other person is busy whipping up breakfast in the kitchen, catching them by surprise
Just doing their own things in the same space; being so comfortable around the other even in their pyjamas
Holding both their hands while holding their gaze gently, just before leaning in for a kiss
Switching positions with the other when walking down a busy sidewalk because your feel the need to keep the other safe
Being playfully clingy in the mornings when one has an off day and the other has to rush to work
Getting them something from the store when they only mentioned it in passing
When one is overseas for a work trip and everything they see reminds them of the other person (bonus: whenever it happens, they take a picture and drop the other person a text.)
Squeezing their hand reassuringly and holding their hand throughout an intense social situation (eg. a large school reunion which the more introverted person is dreading)
Kissing away their tears
^ and letting the other cry on their shoulder even when their t-shirt gets soaked from their tears
Meeting them where they are, mentally and emotionally; never forcing them to do anything they aren’t comfortable with
Wholeheartedly supporting their dreams, and putting that into action by making concrete plans for it to happen
Dropping the other person an encouraging text before an important interview/event
Surprising the other with flowers just because; no occasion and no reason needed
Picking the other person up from work when it’s getting late, and walking them right to their doorstep after
Good morning and goodnight texts
Making the other person a Spotify playlist with songs that remind them of their relationship and growth
Remembering the littlest of things — activities they like and dislike, favourite brands of stationery, go-to ice cream flavour, choice of popcorn
Writing little notes on post-its and leaving them in random pages of their textbook, so that they will get a little endorphin boost when studying

LIPOGR(A)M
She’s gone, I think, but, well, he’s not very interesting. I refuse to spend time with him; he’s just one big bore. Should I feel upset over it? He’s not my friend, you know, never. He’s hers. Since high school. She pities him so much–she went to prom with him, or something. I went by myself; sort of with her… but not–you know. Friends. She didn’t tell people we were going together, though; she told them she went with him. Over with now, of course, for some lengths of time, but you never forget your first prom. Your only prom. I don’t, is my point. I don’t forget it. I’ll hold grudges like you wouldn’t believe. Let her go wherever, with whoever, see if I notice. I’m not rude to her–I just don’t open my mouth when she’s in the room. This is the first I’ve thought of it since–well.
I don’t think I’m so upset over her friend, you know. He didn’t intend to get involved, but then he turned into this–thing; the point of my letting go. But it’s not on him, in the end. Or me. You know, it’s not something I feel I should tell you, if she won’t. The things we used to do. I thought in the end it would be the two of us, beyond the girls or the boys of high school, in some kind of… post-world. Everything gone before us; some kind of consciousness we held. Who else would we need? They were wrong; the things they pushed on us were wrong. The lip glosses, the high-heeled shoes. I thought she understood–but she went with him to prom, you know, so since then you’re the only other one I’ve met.

“say you won’t let go” - some touch starved scenarios
prompt list by @novelbear
heart pounding whenever the other does so much as to hold onto their wrist while guiding them through a crowd
one just casually sitting down on the other's lap and they start internally freaking the hell out
hesitantly tugging the other's fabric of their shirt or sleeve, testing the waters
^^ the other notices so they pull them into a hug, smiling as they just watch them melt
"wait, don't go, please.."
"is this okay?" "it's more than okay."
already barely holding it together as they're getting their hand held but then they feel that reassuring squeeze and they just can't
wearing the others' clothes so that it can at least feel like they're hugging them, even for just a moment
feeling so lonely that they have to call their lover/friend, just to get a sense and reminder that they're still there
^ trying and failing to hold back their tears as they do so
"can i have one more hug?" "aw, babe you don't have to ask, c'mere..."
when the other holds onto their waist briefly as they're passing by and it just send chills down their spine
breaking down mid-hug because they just needed this so much
their breath hitching whenever the other gets a little closer
^ feeling crushed when that action is taken as a sign of discomfort, and they watch them slowly back off
holding onto a stuffed animal/pillow, imagining that it's their lover in their embrace instead
one leaning their head onto the other's shoulder suddenly and they just freeze
"i wasn't sure how much longer i could have taken this..."

How to write a kiss scene
requested by: anon request: How do I write a good kiss scene? As how do I describe it? What details or words would make it good?
What goes into the writing of a kiss scene?
details to incorporate:
the sensations in their stomach, their chest, and their knees
the way their breathing changes shortly before the kiss
the feeling of the other's hands
the texture of the other's clothing
the moment they realise they've reached the point of no return
the feeling they're left with after the kiss
words to use...
... to describe the kiss:
tentative
tender
hesitant
quick
soft
gentle
delicate
languid
feathery
familiar
exploring
hungry
heated
fiery
frantic
impatient
sloppy
messy
aggressive
... to describe how they feel about the kiss:
nervous
excited
giddy
anxious
apprehensive
ambiguous
surprised
reassured
certain
confident
relieved
eager
greedy
... to show what the lips do:
exploring each other
brushing over each other
locking
devouring
touching
sealing
pressing against each other
capturing
lapping
tasting
crushing together
travelling (the other's body)
trailing (down to the other's chin)
grinning into the kiss
caressing
lingering
... to show how their body reacts:
feeling warm all over
buzzing
humming
pumping/palpitating heart
clenching lungs
joy bubbling up
tingly stomach
warm chest
burning cheeks
sweaty palms
blood rushing through their veins
... to describe what their hands are doing:
tangling in their lover's hair
wrapping their arms around their lover's neck
intertwining their fingers with their lover
resting on their lover's hips
pressing into their lover's shoulder blades
cupping their lover's cheeks
touching their lover's chin
curling their arm around their lover's waist
resting on their lover's shoulders
grabbing their lover's collar
sneaking up under their lover's shirt
brushing over their lover's bare skin
lightly squeezing their lover's butt
focus on:
the sensations instead of what's physically happening. (the protagonists might very well not know themselves what is happening exactly, but they feel very precisely)
I hope this helps <3
